Our Story

Our name ‘UTM’ (Umgodi Tenement Management) comes from the African language Swahili, which, when translated into English, literally means ‘Hole in the Ground’. This name is reflective of our South African heritage.

UTM’s rapid growth over the years is attributed to its reputation for the provision of professional, personal, and efficient administration of tenement and mining management.

Much of our success is attributed to the positive relationships with Government Departments, Local Councils, Landowners, Native Title parties, and Industry Affiliations.

Our Experience

Due to our extensive experience and our memberships with QRC (Queensland Resources Council) and AMEX (Association of Mining and Exploration Companies), UTM has been invited to be involved in many changes to policies to assist in the better management of Exploration and Mining processes throughout Australia.

All our Consultants, Geologists, lawyers, and Administration Officers have decades of industry-related experience. All Consultants are trained in the relevant State and Territory Acts, Regulations, and Legislations, and are kept up to date with the relevant policy changes, additions, and amendments.
