Native Title Coordination

Native Title is a key consideration in exploration and mining tenement management across Australia. We support our clients in understanding and fulfilling their legal obligations under the Native Title Act 1993, while fostering respectful, transparent relationships with Registered Native Title Body Corporates (RNTBCs).

Cultural Heritage Due Diligence

Supporting responsible land access through proactive heritage identification, compliance management, and culturally respectful engagement. This service involves assessing known cultural heritage sites and sensitive areas within proposed tenements, coordinating surveys with Traditional Owner groups. We ensure all heritage information is integrated into tenement planning processes to minimise risk and uphold legislative responsibilities.

Native Title Notifications

We manage all Native Title notification requirements to ensure full procedural compliance and timely progression of tenement applications. This includes the preparation and lodgement of Section 29 Notices, monitoring objection periods, and coordinating responses in line with the Native Title Act 1993. Our experienced team liaises directly with government departments, Native Title Representative Bodies (NTRBs), and Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs) to ensure each notification process is managed transparently and efficiently.

Agreement Negotiation & Management

We facilitate fair, transparent, and outcome-driven negotiation and management of agreements such as Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs), Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMPs), and Native Title Protection Conditions (NTPCs). Our team coordinates with Traditional Owner groups and relevant regulatory bodies to facilitate the negotiation and execution of agreements and ensure all Section 31 Deeds are properly lodged with the State.

Native Title  Party Liaison

We provide structured coordination and communication with Native Title parties to support respectful engagement and clear procedural outcomes. This includes managing correspondence, meetings, and consultation processes with Prescribed Bodies Corporate and Traditional Owner representatives.
